TIMELINE
FIRST ENCOUNTER
Our journey began in high school where we met. We didn’t speak for the first two terms but after an awkward meeting, we became friends and eventually best friends.
GRADUATION
We graduated high school, went our separate ways but we kept in touch through Facebook.
ANOTHER GRADUATION
We met again at Biodun’s younger brother’s graduation and Biodun realized that it was far better to taunt Chibuzo in person than over Facebook messages.
4 YEARS LATER
We started dating in 2014. ❤️
THE EMOTIONAL YEAR
We were still getting used to the long distance. This was the emotional year. We felt love, fury, kindness, fear and uncertainty and a deep longing to be together.
PURPOSE
Chibuzo found a new passion for software development, Biodun graduated and had to move to a new city to start a new job. It was a good year.
CLARITY
Clarity because we knew we were ready for the next step; this was the year we got engaged

New beginnings are an opportunity to look to the past with gratitude, to absorb it’s lessons and to gaze at the future with hope and expectation.
